Generally speaking, the only parameters related to the sound quality of real headphones are frequency range, sensitivity and impedance.

1. Frequency range:

The frequency range of the headset will be an interval. The smaller the number in the front, the stronger the bass you can hear from the headset. The larger the number in the back, the better the high frequency range it can cover. Don`t forget that our ears also have a [frequency range", which is 20-20000Hz.

2. Sensitivity:

Sensitivity means which headphones are louder for the same song. Sound pressure, commonly known as: the sound is not loud, it is decibel, dB. Decibels are a relative quantity. There are various fancy dBFS, dBV, dBm, and the dB of sound pressure is actually dBSPL.

0 dB is the smallest sound you can hear.

3. Impedance:

The impedance of the earphone refers to its AC impedance, usually 16 to 300 ohms. However, some earphones use an impedance of 600 ohms. Earplugs are generally between 16-150 ohms.

Generally speaking, headphones with sensitivity higher than 100dB / mW and impedance between 16-32 ohms are not difficult to drive. However, if the impedance of the headset is greater than 200, a special amplifier is required to drive it.

It should be noted that the higher the sensitivity and the lower the impedance, the better the headphones. On the contrary, many classic headphones are difficult to push in.
